To: My Favorite Headache
This is a really interesting link.

Pick a storm from a previous year and follow the path with your mouse. A pop up box will list the changes in Category and wind speed as the storm progressed.

I know Andrew and Mitch both intensified just before landfall, but I followed their paths and it was a pretty constant intensification along their approach to land

I have noticed just in the last 1 hour that there is some solid convection building around the center. I am curious to see if this will be at 120 at the 11 AM Update.

If you type in 1989 and look at Hugo, it has the same pattern of losing strength, then, well you know what happened then...
