Oh, don't forget... he staffs his cabinets with blacks (whom liberals do not consider "really Black") and appoints federal judgeships to Hispanics (whom liberals don't consider "really Hispanic")... frickin' liberal racist.

The President's unilateral assertion of U.S. power has redefined America's role in the world. Here was Bush breaking every liberal idol: the ABM Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol, deference to the U.N., subservience to the "international community." It was an astonishing performance that left the world reeling and the Democrats seething. The pretender had not just seized the throne. He was acting like a king. Nay, an emperor.

During the eight years of Clinton, liberals slept easy knowing that their president would maintain their fictions, such as the US being on board with the international BS like Kyoto and ICC. They thought that the mandateless W would be obligated to continue those fictions, i.e. "long-established doctrine."

But it had required amazingly disciplined cowardice on the part of Clinton, in the face of terrorist attacks during his tenure, to completely avoid betraying the liberals trust. So that was a bit of a house of cards.

That the country as a whole approved of Clinton job performance further lulled the liberals to blissful sleep. The American people had been pleased that things seemed to be going so well, but they never bought the lying doctrine. With Rush, Drudge, 9/11 fallout, FoxNews, FR on their side, and the bully pulpit, W and Rove were able to have the political cover to jettison all that BS effectively.

The liberals are very angry to be jarred out of such a pleasant sleep.

In their hatred the Democrats attack Bush at his strengths. They're too corrupt and intellectually bankrupt to understand or exploit his weaknesses.

At this point, Bush should, and will, win re-election on the basis of his foreign policy alone. Deservingly so.

> Bush's great crime is that he is the illegitimate President who became consequential

But he's not an illegitimate president.

The Democrats themselves did so much vote rigging, they may have stolen two or three millon votes and as many as six senate seats. I suppose they figured it was just not fair for Mr. Bush to win after all the trouble they took to steal the election.

Bill Moyers may have his politics, but his deferential demeanor and almost avuncular television style made him the Mr. Rogers of American politics. So when he leaves his neighborhood to go to a "Take Back America" rally and denounces George W. Bush's "government of, by and for the ruling corporate class," leading a "right-wing wrecking crew" engaged in "a deliberate, intentional destruction of the United States way of governing," you know that something is going on.

Yes what's going on is someone forgot to take his meds.

What Makes the Bush Haters So Mad?

Huh, that's an easy one - - their guy was a scandal-ridden scumbag who disgraced the office of the Presidency, and our guy is an American hero who has returned dignity to the White House. If I was a Democrat, I would be pissed, too.

But then, I work for a living and believe in God as well as traditional America and its families, and so I could never be a Democrat.

Did any of you hear Sean Hannity's version of "Have You Forgotten?" He had inserted quotes from various demonrats, and to me, it sounded like blasphemy. The hatred was so intense you could feel it.

Other reasons the demons hate Bush (and I believe his genuine Christianity is a biggie) is because they know in their hearts he is everything they pretended Clinton was. Clinton's "leadership" was a facade. Bush is a real man who instinctively knows how to lead. He doesn't have to bite his lip and fake tears. He's genuine to the core, and you can feel it when he speaks. I'll never forget his posture and facial expression when he walked from his helicopter to the White House on 9/11. Every inch of him looked pissed, and you KNEW he was going to take care of things.

Also, President Bush is cool. Clinton THOUGHT he was, and his groupies pretended he was, but he was, and always will be, a con artist. Bush owns a real ranch. He drives around in a big ole Ford pickup. He always has his dawgs with him, and he genuinely cares about them. He looks great in jeans and work clothes. He's real. Clinton never was any of that. The Clintonoids hate Bush for all the reasons listed above my post here and will never forgive him for being the man "their" President never was.

The innate decency of right-thinking people means that an effort is required to get into the mindset of leftists. They *exulted* in X42's saying and doing nasty things - allowing them to feel good about their own nasty selves. W=forced cold turkey.

Like the Reagan cuts, they will starve the government of revenue for years to come.

The improved economy brought in MORE tax dollars. And the media pundits wonder why we shout BIAS.

Analytical writers like this keep not mentioning that almost immediately after the swearing-in guys put away the Bible upon which Bush swore his oath of office, came the Chinese confrontation over our spy plane. IMO, that set the tone, showed what W was worth, and did much to prepare him and his team for the next Big Event, come that September.

Also, W went to Europe and fraternized with national leaders whose help we were going to need, making friends, using his charm and good will to develop these contacts, before we needed them. Coincidence? I think not. The man prays. He knows his God. He knows his mission. He has a charge to keep. And I thank God daily for him being in office. I pray for Four More Years.

I can tell you why they hate Bush. They worshipped Clinton and saw Gore as the best way to maintain the Clinton years without changing the Constitution. Bush put an end to that.

Its as simple as that.

The answer is just tooooooo easy.

The dems/socialist-communists are scared s**tless that the American public will come to put 2+2 together and come up with 4 (Plus interest).

They are afraid that the average 'murican will discover that the conservative program/agenda actually works.

Cutting taxes really does increase money into the coffers.
The NEA is really worthless.
Unions reduce productivity.
Communism doesn't work.
Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
Rich people create jobs. No one ever got a job from a homeless man!
The only REAL function of the federal government is the Military.
A reduction in the rate of spending increases is NOT A SPENDING CUT.
The NOW does NOT represent any real women.
Squaw is NOT a demeaning word!
Sean Penn is a complete f'in idiot.
So is Barbra Streisand!

And so many, many more truths.

Eat a rock, Terry McAwful

These people know in their hearts that clinton was a failure as a president. If GWB was to jaywalk we'd probably hear about it on the evening news. They would love to make GWB the 3rd impeached president. IMO.
