At least SCOTUS is already in session, having started early in order to hear the CFR case last week, so that won't have to come from the four corners of the earth to hear the appeal.

I recall Congressman Billybob saying that SCOTUS will probably act on an emergency basis on this one. It will probably be overturned quickly. All the polls have been saying that this is the most closely watched election in a long time.....maybe a lot of folks that were paying attn will now go back to baseball and football and think that the race is off til next year. If this gets overturned and put back on, the Dems may just have deflated their own turnout.....And Bustamante is now faced with a really long campaign and limited fundraising ability (except from the gaming tribes which is a liability).
