Yes, a private letter that had been erased, yet recovered by partisans who were trying to make her look bad, despite the truth contained in everything to which she had testified and had written.

It was a clear case of the politics of personal destruction. The media helped take her down, with the help of their low-life friends, the Kurintongs, of course.
