Yeah, they'll close them as this thing gets real close...that's why I say to get out early. They'll close the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel if the winds are sustained greater than 70 MPH...they closed it during Floyd and the winds never got that high here, not sustained anyway. I drove across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel in a VW Bug during a coastal storm that had waves crashing over the roadbed. By the time I got across they'd closed the thing...but I never did see water in the tunnels.

Those tunnels,,Lord, I hate to think about it. but the beach at ocean city and Bethany really worries me, it might just be gone. And downtown Baltimore, the harbor, it could be ugly.
