I think college did me better. It said I improved 6 points over the last test I took. (15 years ago...)

131. I hope it doesn't sound self-serving that I trust my elementary school score (139) a lot more than this.

"135, Visionary Philosopher, whatever that is.
I'd like to know which ones I got wrong. The one that's bugging me is "which number does John like"? Too bad there was no answer for "who the hell cares, John is a dork for disliking half the numbers in the question" :::lol::

I did 158 after a bit of candian mist and I am with you. Who is John and what did he know. I think Jill is the key we find this babe we are really smart. What does John like whatever Jill says and concurrence with the IRS and maybe master card. Yees back to the grind of doing statistacial models of moving platforms and moving target indicators as they apply to ground clutter intruders. Perhaps John can help with the phase margin thing. Other than that back to BBQ, the card game and the good life.

Gotta 90 on that geography quiz. Romania, Moldova, Latvia? They all look alike to me.

Ach, you got me by four points...
Thank you for recently taking the Self Discovery Workshop's IQ Test.
Because of the Internet's ability to mishandle transmissions, we are
reconfirming via email that your IQ Test score was: 154
If you wish to purchase your Complete Personal Intelligence Profile,
you can do so by going to this address: yadda, yadda, yadda
Personally, I think this "Edg Duveyoung" person is pretty smart. He/she must make a pile of money from people purchasing the complete breakdown.

That one is a pretty good test. Course I had been away from the bottle for a few days before, and had a really good cup of joe in front of me when I took it. Congrats! 154 is damn respectable.

That question about what number John liked puzzled me too. I'm not nearly as smart as you (snif snif 118) I thought you would know John & the numbers he liked. Guess not. I'm not sure this test is right. I'm NO kind of Mathamatician even tho I am very Visual, artist usually are. ;9}

The thing is, I remember being administered IQ tests in school (back in the day) and they went on for long periods of time and had a human evaluator to ask you to explain some of your reasoning behind your answers. You never know how much stock to put in these types of tests online. I know only that the NFL apparantly puts a lot of stock in the Wonderlick (Wunderlick?) test- just ask Charlie Ward.

John likes 900. The numbers he liked were all squared numbers Ok, thanks! I couldn't get the pattern, then said the heck with it and chose 1000. At that point I figured that if he liked 100 then he'd like 1000 as what's an extra zero matter, anyway :::lol::: .
I find that while my IQ came out good I have almost no attention span - I almost quit after page one as I was getting bored and annoyed by the questions....

At 126, I'm an "Insightful Linguist"; they say I have a natural fluency for writing (yeah, right), but with the visual talent of an artist (who, me?). They insist I have a creative & expressive mind. You can tell all that from a two=page test?!?

13, eh? Well Junior let this old man of 40 impart a few observations to you for what they're worth.
- Some people do not test well
- Level of education does not reflect intelligence
These tests would show poor results for people who have not studied geometry, algeba, etc. but that does make them stupid. Big difference between lack of exposure and a lack of understanding.
Some folks have had courses to prepare them for these tests which gives them a big edge over people who get hit cold with pattern finding, etc.
- A University professor with a doctorate told me the only difference between he and I was that he had read more books than me.
- Some people can be very smart but lack common sense.
- And lastly some people are extremely gifted but only in a specific area while lacking in others.
P.S. My score was 132 - visionary philosopher
I don't like testing, hated school, am unstructured and undisciplined. My mind was described once as creative and not mathmatical. This fits given my temperment and since I'm an artist and an independent businessman.

All of you fell right into the marketing survey and email address database lured by vanity. They had you hooked. You had to see what you scored after all that work and were willing to fill out a marketing form to see it.
IF they really do sell email addresses, and lied about it, how would you know, and what could you do about it if you knew, and how would you prove it?
Here's an IQ question.
Marketeers will lie to get information they can sell. This statement is. . .
___ True
___ False
You've been conned.

I got 133.
My measured IQ when I was a kid was somewhere between 150 and 175 (depending on the test). I was--for a short while--the youngest member of Mensa (my mother's idea).
So 40 years plus terrible mind-destroying meds have reduced me to this level. Ah, ain't life grand?
