In W.W.II the generals made reporters walk through the death camps to prove that they were there.
They KNEW later on in history people would come and try to say the Holocaust didn't happen.
As with the Death camps 9-11 must never be forgotten, years from now I will have to explain to a young child why I have an American flag Tattooed on my arm w/ the date 9-11-01 tearing a hole through it, because I will never forget.

This pictures say it all, doesn't it.
Anger is good. Anger is healthy.
So is survival.

Thanks..I'm watching now.The look on the President's face said he knew we had been attacked and then we didn't know how widespread it would be.

What's even more disgusting than that quote was Katie Couric interviewing Hillary this morning and questioning whether or not the administration should have warned NY citizens about the air quality/pollution at ground zero. She was practically begging Hillary to blame the administration. THIS on a day of rememberance...

These pictures on Fox bring it all back. They are forgiven (almost) for talking through the moments of silence. They seem to be the only people willing to show extended footage of that day.

Just came back from a koran burning ceremony I improvised. It was a nice way to vent some of the rage I still feel. My only regret was that I couldn't find a mosque to do it in front of. Mitigating factor is that there aren't any mosques around here.

I'm watching Fox right now - they are showing clips entitled "Remember 9/11" - and it is all coming back. I'm sitting here at home, all by myelf - husband is out of town and 1 son is away at college (he left for his freshman year of college just a few days before 9/11 - 2 years ago) and my other 2 sons are in classes.) I am just sitting here crying my eyes out--all the emotions are coming back. ...and seeing President Bush's face - as they showed the clip of him being told - is just unbelieveable. It's all coming back again. Tears are flowing ...

Never Forget, and just as importantly,
NEVER FORGIVE
It wasn't a "tragedy" it was an ATROCITY.

Crying can be healing. I've cried this morning, too. But my primary feeling is one of anger, intense burning anger.

Let's hope that it stays that way, Mosques seem to be a bad portend.

How about those disgusting a**wipes holding a celebration for the hijackers, I think they said in England. I wish I were there to help them "celebrate".

I have to respectfully disagree. The flag should fly at full staff, proud and unbowed. The time of mourning is over. Now is the time for action.

My flag is flying at full staff and is waving beautifully in a light wind on this beautiful day, just as it blew and waved on 9/11/01.

Are we the only ones who remember? Is America so wussified that 911 "never happened"?
I slipped over to DU, and they are gloating the fact that the jobless rate is up. Not many stories about 9/11.
NORMAL SCUM FOR THE DU.
They have no shame.

This is enough to make us angry all over again, Meg. This in the last few hours:
State Department warns of "increased indications" that al Qaeda is preparing attacks on U.S. interests to coincide with 9/11 anniversary.

It's all coming back again. Tears are flowing ... I, too am watching FNC. I'm crying this morning, unlike 2 years ago when I was unable to cry. It was the afternoon of Friday, September 14th before I ever shed a tear
