I would imagine that lots of legislators really dislike the fact that this information is so very readily available to the average person, and not just in Virginia.
Before all of this kind of stuff went online, most folks just didn't realize all this kind of info was available.
I don't know what I would do if it weren't, living so far from Richmond. Things were different when I lived in Delaware, in 20 years I never lived more than 3 miles from the Capitol building and so had easy access.
Sounds like a good bumper-sticker...MUD
LOL...I do sorta wear my loyalties on my bumper...I do need another good Kilgore sticker to go over my prominently-displayed Winsome fer Congress sticker, but no Hokie paraphanalia is allowed on my baby!!
FReegards...MUD
You do good work, my FRiend!
OK - I'll bite..........what kinda truck you got?????
Here's the GOP traitor list:
HOUSE
Bryant, Lynchburg
Carrico, Grayson
Dillard, Fairfax
Fralin, Roanoke
Hurt, Pittsylvania
Ingram, Hopewell
Jones (S.C.), Suffolk
Marshall (D.W.), Danville
May, Loudoun
Morgan, Middlesex
Nutter, Montgomery
Orrock, Caroline
Parrish, Manassas
Rust, Fairfax
Scott (E.T.), Madison
Tata, Virginia Beach
I think we may have to put the not-voting on that list for consideration: Hamilton, Newport News and Weatherholtz, Rockingham. I'd at least like to know why.
SENATE
Blevins, Chesapeake
Chichester, Stafford
Devolites, Fairfax
Hanger, Augusta
Hawkins, Pittsylvania
Mims, Loudoun
Norment, James City
Potts, Winchester
Quayle, Chesapeake
Stolle, Virginia Beach
Stosch, Henrico
Wampler, Bristol
Watkins, Powhatan
Williams, Newport News
Keep in mind - EVERY MEMBER of the House and Senate is up for reelection next year.
A good way to view the traitors is to look at the image at www.atr.org. The more I think about it the more ticked I get (again). I'm going to be writing letters after Christmas whether it does any good or not. I've given Stosch an earful I don't know how many times, but that was just warming up....(evil laugh)
I have GOT to get me one of those!
A Ranger...nuthin' fancy...MUD
FReegards...MUD
I don't know. I'm not sure the groundswell of support is out there to go after them. But I think we can at least cause them some grief.
I cannot believe Watkins went over to the dark side...MUD
Probably a payback for getting 288 to run through his backyard.
I thought Senate seats were longer than House seats?
Rerras is not on the list (I knew that) and my Delegate is a D. A real nice guy, pretty conservative, and my attorney, but, still a D.
How do we get rid of the entrenched RINOs? I think you and iceskater ought to run and maybe I'll try my hand....
Is Watkins your Senator too? I recently moved and now he's mine.
My husband just bought a Ranger - I think it is kinda fancy!!!! Of course that down graded me from an Olds mini-van with power everything, to an Escort with power nothing.
The most recent bumper sticker he put on (in addition to Bush/Cheney04) reminds folk that: We're Rural, Not Stupid on the Eastern shore of Virginia.
He got the truck right before Halloween and found a Bush/Cheney sticker from 2000 in the glove box of my van when he was cleaning it out to trade it in. He didn't even wait to get out of the dealership parking lot before putting it on. I gave him the '04 one when I saw the old one on it!!!
My bad. Senate seats are not up next year. They're every four years on the off year from the Governor's race.
If nothing else causing some grief puts them on notice we are watching.
I thought so, but wasn't 100% sure.
I don't know what's going to happen around here with the Delegate race. The Republicans got slapped down pretty hard in Accomack in 2003 partly because the guy that won the primary was openly in favor of tax increase proposals.
It sure says something when the retiring 26 year Republican veteran delegate won't endorse the R candidate......... And Bob Bloxom would not endorse Tom Dix.
