BTW, you ever try to get the school to allow your kid to bring in a small refrigerator sufficient to keep milk sanitary until "late lunch" at 1 PM?

No, I have not asked that question. I'm still waiting for the response from the last question I asked them, "Can I be present when you cover history?".

No other advice than to get your kids out of that school and or school system - something is whacked out there.

On a "mental" health note, my 9 yr old told me tonight that when he asked his teacher if he could bring in a "medal" (picture of the Statue of Lib - saying "Let Freedom Ring") given to him by his Uncle, to commerate 9/11, tomorrow morning - his teacher said, "No, you don't have enough points accumulated in "show and tell" to do that.

I told my boy to ask, as soon as they get in class, the teacher if they can have a moment of silence for the 2,800 American citizens that lost their lives in the terrorist attack two years ago.

Just so happens that "Open House" for the school is tomorrow. I'll be asking the boy what happened.

I have a strong feeling that I'll be having another very one sided lecture with a young, brainwashed, 'Rat product of the "higher" liberal learning institutes of "knowledge".

Won't be the first time, won't be the last. I enjoy every one.

BTW, your kid's intolerance to milk is not a reason to make the "system" change.

Around my community the majority of the children in the public schools are lactose intolerant. Seems to me the "system" should accommodate the needs of the majority at a minimum.

It may be different where you live.

This is all a good reason for local control of schools.
