You've done a lot already, but have you considering joining the military for a while as a way to further the cause of America? The country could always use a good young man like you.

Not that you would be a bad person if you didn't join, and I wouldn't hold it against you.

Still, just a thought. We have a war we have to win.

You've done a lot already, but have you considering joining the military for a while as a way to further the cause of America? Ah, the military. A good portion of my family served... one grandpa was Army intel (WWII), another was an Army cook/antitank (WWII), and my step grandfather was a Navy medic. My uncle served in the Marine Corps and was almost selected to serve on Marine One. At this point I'm planning to go to college, where I hope to study political science, foreign affairs, national security studies, etc. I hope to begin a career serving my country in another way: hopefully working for the Central Intelligence Agency or one of the many other federal intel branches. Perhaps one day, after college, I will consider National Guard or reservist duty. I can say one thing though... if we go to total war in the near future, and it gets to the point where we're drafting, I'd be more than willing to volunteer active duty. We shall see. -Scott
