Do you think that having a hissy fit over Bustamante will stave off the inevitable Latino majority in California? You had better learn social conservatism because the Latinos will not be interested in Muffy, Skipper, Mumsy, polo lessons or trust fund protection politics for a very long time to come.
In any event, you know that Arnold isn't goin to win. The divisions to prevent that are permanent.
Bookmarked for later self satisfaction bumping.
If Bustamante wins and McClintock's vote tally is greater than the margin between Schwarzenegger and Bustamante, then I will work to send McClintock back to the private sector in 2004. If Schwarzenegger winds up getting fewer votes than McClintock, then I will commute every weekend from San Diego to Thousand Oaks to ensure that little Tommy McNasty loses the State Senate primary. When someone deliberately splits the vote in apparent collusion with Bustamante, including receiving large amounts of campaign cash from tribal gaming interests who've already endorsed Bustamante, one is allowed to question the man's true motives, and reward him accordingly.
You know that Arnold will be finished if he does not win this year.
Of course. He's not a professional politician, living on the public's dime for 20 years.
Frankly, in 2006, he will be finished if he DOES win this year. So will California.
If he wins, you'd better pray you're right, because otherwise you're going to look really f***ing stupid.
Do you think that having a hissy fit over Bustamante will stave off the inevitable Latino majority in California?
No, it won't. But Bustamante would be a disaster for this state. Of course, since you live in Illinois, you don't have to suffer the consequences of electing him. Talk is cheap, son.

Wow. Class-warfare rhetoric from McClintock supporters? They prefer that a Democrat win, they pray for unconstitutional judicial fiat to delay the election, and they now start spouting liberal we-hate-the-rich rhetoric. This does *not* make them sound like they're actually conservative.
In any event, you know that Arnold isn't goin to win. The divisions to prevent that are permanent.
When Illinois manages to actually elect a conservative, we'll take your silly opinions under advisement out here.
