California conservatives have had every chance in the world to get a better governor than what they have and they have blown it time and time again.
You people have short memories. You act as if CA hasn't had a Republican governor in over 40 years. Try 5 years.
Let me get this right: YOU are asserting that PETE WILSON -- the same one whose prominent role in Arnold's campaign has been the basis for so much Arnold-ain't-no-conservative, Arnold-is-a-RINO bashing on this forum -- is a CONSERVATIVE? (You technically said "Republican," but you offered Wilson in response to a post stating that
conservatives (not "Republicans") hadn't been successful in CA for a long time.)
"Even" I disagree with that characterization. Wilson was a wet like Bush 41, Ford, et al.
