There is absolutely NO connection between Christian belief and evolutionYes there is a connection between Darwinian evolution and Christian belief - Darwinism denies a Creator. It has to in fact. To believe in the numerous improbabilities which Darwinian evolution asks its believers to swallow, one must totally reject that God could have created life, that God could have created man.

Not at all the case. What may appear to be a series of merely fortutious "accidents", may indeed be the result of Devine Intervention, regardless of what some evolutionists may theorize. Even if there was no DIRECT Devine intervention, I, as a believeer in God and the Bible, would state that the fundamental laws and premises which control the actions of the evolutionary process were Devinely established, thus refuting any such claims. There is no reason the laws of physics and chemistry and cosmology need have turned out the way they did.
Perosnally, if evolutionary products were merely the reult of a series of 'accidents", it would be possible that a creature like Homo sapiens might never have evolved. The fact that he did, is a good argument for the existence of a Deity. As someone once suggested, the odds that several thousand monkeys typing away on typewriters could produce the works of Shakespear are exceedingly remote.
