Of course the kids at Dalton all have tutors so the damage is limited. I remember a lot of the kids had therapists also. Wealthy angst as well as the Mercedes's, limos, and other drivers picking up kids after school.

It went beyond angst and normal alienation.
WE are dealing with poorly supervised highly intelligent children. Drug use and sex were rampant. Many came from public broken down homes.
On top of this there is a fundamental problem. Highly intelligent people have a tendency to be, ahem, eccentric. Some are smart enough to overcome or compensate for their problems. We are dealing with a group of gifted students. In my class at Collegiate IQ's ranged from 125 to 180.
