I got to see one of the World Series Games against the St Louis Cardinals when i was in Second Grade. a few nights later, they won the series.

Dad packed us into the car, and we drove down Woodward honking our horn and yelling out the windows....lots of noise, but it was SAFE.... not like today whee people would be looting and burning things up!
