Appreciate the help, even though it appears I'm wrong....arrrrggh! At least the Tigers unloaded him before his arm ( and everything else) went south on him!
He was one major jerk of a prima madonna. He flew his own jet (not too common back then) and had promised Mickey Lolich a ride back from some road trip, but 'forgot' him. He could give lessons to some of these current sports zeroes. Guess he was just ahead of his time!

Denny made an excuse not to show up for a game, sick stomach or something. Right in the middle of the game, Freehan said he looked up and saw a small plane flying over the stadium that looked like Denny's. "At least I think that was Denny's plane...". Heh heh. Is he out of prison yet? Too bad he was such a dirtbag.
