C'mon California FReepers, we did it before and we can do this again. I can think of a couple of dozen people right off the top of my head - not to mention everyone one on Free Republic - who would sign the petition. Please let's use this thread to start brainstorming, posting links, etc. Show everyone what we are made of...we CAN beat this thing!
Also, I desperately need pings to all the usual suspects - especially everyone on the California list. Can someone please do that? I don't know how. Even bumps to this thread would be greatly appreciated. We must keep this out there in the public forum. CALL RADIO STATIONS if you can. Remember, talk radio is our friend. Television media is NOT covering this. Also, feedback from legal eagles and/or anyone who handled the recall petitions would be invaluable. Remember, we are all in this together, so "One if by land, two if by sea!"
GO CALIFORNIA FREEPERS

I can't wait to sign it and I've got two other voters in my household ready to do the same - and my wife was born in Bogota!

This is insane .... do Davis realize what he is about to do ??
ANYONE can pick up a new ID in America simply by going to California, getting a Taxpayer ID and then turning it into a driver's license.
Boom, say goodbye to a criminal underclass (new ID)
Say goodbye to fugitives from justice
Say goodbye to real deadbeat dads.
Say goodbye to ANYONE that wants to disappear
Would it really be that hard to get a matricula ID if a criminal flashed enough cash at corrupt Mexican officials ?

But, but, but... If we stop the law, how are all of those poor illegals supposed to buy guns? They need a valid ID if they're going to skirt Federal gun laws and buy a gun. (Don't worry, it's OK if they do. DiFi's behind this thing 110%. She knows who should and shouldn't have a gun. It must be all okey-dokey with her.)

Schwartzenegger could help stave off these licenses, if he wanted to, by announcing that the California DMV would make information about all applicants without SSN's available to the INS. Might make some illegals thing twice (well, before deciding the INS would probably deep-6 the info...)

already is buzzing about a plan to challenge the new law "once Davis's pen hits the paper." ... Here's how it would work. Signatures on petitions would be gathered as with the recall; however, the good news is that he said only a relatively small number would be required. I heard Davis' pen hit the paper on KFI just now. I haven't been this outraged since the build up to the recall. Just tell me when and where I can download my petitions. My coworkers thought I was motivated on the recall, they haven't seen anything yet.

The Democrats have outnumbered Republicans in California for many years, but if Gray-out Davis keeps it up, he might get everyone in California to switch parties by the time he's recalled!

Get me some petitions in Spanish, I'll get the new illegal non-citizen voters to sign it...

McClintock is going to do three things if he stays in this race...
1) Lose. BIG!
2) Kill his political career. And rightfully so.
3) Be responsible for the loss of a SURE thing for the second time in a year.

While the referendum process continues, why not do what all the dems do when a law is passed that they don't like. File a lawsuit to keep the liscense law in abeyance until the referendum process is over.
