Congratulations Matt!

I need to buy a couple of copies to give out at Florida gun shows. Or if you want to come down to do the circuit you can crash at my place.

If you do option the book for a movie deal just remember that I still am a card carrying Local 80 grip and I could use the work.

Good work my friend.

Future hard cover editions may include some roses twined around the rifle for soccer moms and sensitive souls like yourself.

LOL! I received my copy today and intend to start reading it in a few minutes. FWIW, I love the drawing on the cover. I think it's pretty damned cool.

Sounds great Sean! Gunshows are a crucial early market. I'm giving half off for boxes of 16, that's just about my cost with shipping etc. I just want to get them out, to build awareness.

I'm learning something about bulk "media mail" rate. It's really a crap shoot, some books were delivered in 3 days halfway across the country, and you're still waiting. I guess it's in the back of a half filled truck waiting somewhere.... It should be there by the end of the week at the latest.

I think DocZox' snake/rifle Gadsden logo is pretty damn cool too. I always did, I had my eye on that logo before I even wrote the book.

Some may say it's simplistic or cartoonish, and it is.

But it's also memorable, and describable, as in when telling friends about the book, with no chance for confusion. ("Enemies something. Bright yellow, with a snake around a rifle on the cover.")

On a deeper level, it joins the founding fathers' 2nd amendment feelings with the modern "assault rifle" debate.

Pretty damn cool.

Yo', Trav!

On the subject of marketing EFAD at gun shows, I will be going to one of the biggest gun shows here in Florida the weekend of the 20th-21st (Lakeland Rifle and Pistol Club), and I'd be happy to do my bit to help you spread the word. What approaches would you suggest or have you used already? I was thinking if you could send me a pack of the those large yellow cards with the book cover and contact info on 'em, I could pass them around to every bookseller I see there. . I'll also take with me a copy of the actual book so they can check it out first-hand.

Let me know what you think.

Click the Gadsden flag for pro-gun resources!

I'm over here in Lake county, and got mine yesterday. Yours shouldn't be too far behind....

No problem! I wouldn't have time to get to in until this weekend anyway.

I wish! It might be possible, but only if they were paper fold outs.

I'll send you a bunch of the cover cards, plus review sheets.

That and a copy of the book to look at should get some interest at the book selling tables.

I noticed the mere three mags as well, but I assumed this was just the standard picnic loadout.

The man is well armed in any case!

LOL........If only every home had those simple tools available to it......

That would be a good pic for the "what guns should I have in my home" threads. You know the ones Eaker starts on Fridays ...........:o)
