If you find Canada so objectionable I suggest you stay there, take out US citizenship and disown your Canadian citizenship. THat sounds schizophrenic to me. You say, in the same sentence, that you don't like it and that it sucks, but you support the government for doing it. You give legitimacy to something you believe is wrong. If you truly don't like it, why don't you do something to change it? Have you ever tried or do you just accespt whatever the government decides is OK?
