Here is my favorite way to prepare salmon:
I usually buy one salmon steak (if you are cooking more than one, adjust time)
Wash salmon and put in microwave safe dish.
Cover with 1/4 inch of white wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Cover with plastic wrap
Poach (cook on high) in microwave for three minutes or until fully cooked (do not overcook)
Use wine to make a white sauce (I don't have recipe. Where is Carlo?)
If you like poached salmon, it comes out perfect, delicious, and doesn't smell up the house (guys hate that!)
Does this mean that you pour in enough wine to cover the salmon by 1/4"? So that it is totally covered?
I am a little confused here. I have never poached anything so I obviously need help.
