Bump!
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
I called one of my friends who has grandchildren this evening and told her I'd be glad to "help" clean out the toy boxes of "previously loved" toys that could use a good home. She thought it was a wonderful idea and will call her daughter about it.
I always have plenty of boxes on hand for care packages for some of our troops and they'll work just as well to send the toys to their new homes. :-)
I also thought about contacting some of the local church groups to see if they may be interested in joining in this effort. And some of the elementary schools. Several have classes that have been involved in letter-writing to the troops. They'll probably get a kick out of contributing to this.
The ideas just keep coming. LOL!

Our troops are something, aren't they? Keep straying from "the plan" to do good deeds.
This would make a nice project for our public schools.
Thanks for all you do for the troops, Kathy!
