This case is about to explode in our face. If Greer won't allow her to have even a week to relearn to swallow food and water, she will dehydrate. Of course, she may be unable to swallow even with months of efforts.

And, furthermore, even if she could swallow, she can't pick up the food or water to put it to her lips. And the Schiavo bodyguards won't allow her to be fed by hand.

This is a sick state of affairs. I will never hold FL in anything but scorn again.

I cannot imagine the hell the Schindlers have been through for so long. The powers that be in FL seem unconcerned about the turmoil caused to this family. How they must wish they had stayed in PA!

I'm not sure that it would be different in PA. It's probably something that needs to be examined state by state.
