"Lazzara said he will give attorneys for the parents of Terri Schiavo another chance later this month.
I suspect that this clintoid "judge" is just trying to drain additional legal expenses from the poor Schinlders with this promise of "another chance" later in September. He will never change his mind."
That might very well be. But I find it interesting that he would try to help the attorneys, whom he conceded had very little time to prepare this complaint. Is he perhaps sending a signal that, if they come back with the right issues, he would be more than happy to provide relief?
I'm not a lawyer (actually, I dropped out of law school after one year!) so I may just be deluding myself. But I'll bet Chris Ferrara, Pat Anderson, and the rest of the legal eagles will be burning some midnight oil over the next few days.

My husband mentioned the same thing. He's in the "legal industry" (sorry, not a lawyer either!), and he thought that the judge might be sending them back to try and draw it up "just right". He said the judge is probably sympathetic, or he wouldn't be telling them to "try again", he'd just say "get out of my court" or just throw it out.
I do hope he's right...
