ANOTHER GREAT HANDOUT - THE TIMELINE. And, note that the parents didn't rush to judgment. They gave Michael approx. a year before they realized something horrible was going on. See pc93's post re: J. Lazzara and Timeline below. It's number 900 and somethin'.

You organize the protest, give out the address and I'll be there. Count on me. I think J. Greer is guilty of malpractice for failing to properly oversee the guardianship of the property. No one I know lives in Forida, I was hoping that they could pass the word, and pray. Maybe someone on one of their lists lives in Fl. I live in CA.
Freepers in Florida would be the best bet. They know people and can get out there and protest. Judge Greer is someone who has a lot of resouces...so be prepared. .

I am going to try to get the local conservative talk radio show to feature Terri out here, even as far away as we are. I sent the emails/signed petitions that you provided links for, and believe me I am praying.
It's just too incredible to me that Terri's parents would have to endure the pain of watching their daughter die from starvation of all things. It is among the more cruel stories I have ever heard, that a disabled, brain-damaged woman would suffer hunger and die of starvation without even, I imagine, understanding why she is suffering.

FLORIDA RIGHT TO LIFE DECLARES CIRCUIT JUDGE GREER SIGNS DEATH WARRANT TO KILL TERRI SCHIAVO
The following statements can be attributed to Mr. Bob Touchston, President, Florida Right to Life.
On August 8, 2001, Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge George Greer ruled that a disabled woman, Terri Schindler-Schiavo, should be killed. Apparently, the disabled have no voice in Judge Greers courtroom. Where is the Americans With Disabilities Act when you need it? She has until August 28, at 3:00 p.m. to live. At which time, unless a higher court intervenes, her feeding tube will be removed and she will be starved to death. Once the feeding tube is removed, it literally takes days for the person to starve to death.
With a stroke of a pen, Judge Greer has decided that the life of Terri Schiavo isnt worth the fluids it takes to sustain her life. Judge Greer didnt mix a concoction of fluids for her to ingest. However, he did mix a potion of questionable legal mumbo jumbo, which rendered Mrs. Schiavo helpless. Judge Greer, how would you react, sir, if that were your wife or daughter? You would use your vast resources and political connections to ensure that your loved one would have the protection every living human being deserves. Let me make this perfectly clear, Mrs. Schiavo is not in a persistent vegetative state; and she is not terminally illshe is simply disabled! Additionally, the parents of Terri Schiavo have been denied the right to present witnesses or expert testimony on her behalf.
Nowhere else in the world is the culture of death more prevalent than in the courtroom of Judge Greer. In the Constitution of the United States, (the document upon which this country is based) it affirms that every citizen has the unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Nowhere, sir, does it give you the power to terminate the life of a disabled person. Judge Greer would deny the opportunity for Mr. and Mrs. Schindler, the parents of Terri Schiavo, to care for their daughter?
With the greatest sense of urgency we ask each and every person who holds life to be precious to voice his or her objections in the strongest terms possible. Florida Right to Life holds that life is precious from conception to natural death--every person, including the disabled.

I emailed the Tally Democrat today re: this. Probably won't hear back. This is such a touchy matter for Florida liberals.

I thought you knew I lived in CA? I'm just here to pray and bump the thread....and pass the word on. My relatives live in AZ, IA, Ma, and ME. I've been pinging people who have taken part in successful FReeps, so they can perhaps give some advice. RonDog knows how to arrange permits with the local cops, etc...

Here is the letter I sent.
Dear John,
I have recently been informed about the situation of a disabled woman in Florida, whose husband is trying to have her feeding tube removed and kill her slowly. I wondered if you would be interested in presenting this story to your listening audience, which includes my husband and myself.
We have an active thread on Free Republic about this tragedy. It was primarily the video tapes of this woman on her site, http://www.terrisfight.org/ which led me to feel intense sorrow for the state of our country and the slippery slope arising regarding euthanasia. This woman attempts to speak, moves on the bed to assist them in changing the sheets, and seems to be quite responsive.
There is a court session coming up on Sept 11th to decide whether or not to remove her feeding tube. I can only imagine the pain of her parents, having to watch their daughter slowly die for 10-14 days, state sanctioned, because she is disabled and brain-damaged. Additionally I can hardly think of anything so cruel as to slowly starve a brain-damaged person, who will suffer the effects of hunger and starvation but not understand the reasons for her suffering.
I think this is truly a horrific story and my hope is that your bringing it out would assist other media to care about this woman, and to raise an alarm about where we are headed.

Not to me. When I first read the post that is exactly what I thought. I just got back on the computer, had to let hubby have his turn with the toy!

Why not write something with a time-line, etc. and with all the info. considering the new facts etc. and then distributing it as far and wide as possible? Just a thought.

I know that St Pete's Junior college is in "bed " with them, because of Mary Jane Etten, It is in one of my earlier posts. She is the proffessor of nursing at the college and on the board of directors of the hospice. I wonder if she "helped" Schiavo get his degree in nursing.

I just emailed the Fla. House and tomorrow, I'll email the Fla. Senate. I felt I needed to explain Judge Greer's malfeasance in Terri's case to them. I complained that the exit protocol is unconstitutional. I'm out of steam for today. The best way to get this out is to join the free republic web ring at yahoo and you'll have access to 700 people. I can't do it because it shuts down my server. There's a freeper web hub ring thread which is bookmarked on my link page. The link to join is on that thread. floriduh voter

The first time he petitioned the court to have her feeding tube removed was in 1997-1998. Was Fel"on"s his lawyer then? If so big conflict of interest.

With the new evidence, etc. they could actually take this back to the United States Supreme Court.

Here's a bit of encouragement from our Father:
