This may have been addressed before and I missed it, but, why doesn't he just divorce her and let her parents take care of her. Then he could go on with his life, marry his girldfriend, and be done with it.

Tg, there was quite a bit of money involved, Terri's for her medical care - that would go to the husband upon Terri's death. How much is left, I don't know.

The husband is obsessed with Terri being gone from this earth. I believe that money is involved that he can't collect until she's gone. The longer she lives, the less there is in the pot but I have not really studied why he won't divorce her - that's just my opinion. The Judge is just as wicked as the husband.

Probably because his wife told him she did not want to be kept alive by artificial means. He is probably trying to follow through on her wishes. Of course, when the state and everyone else knows better what she wanted, it must be tough.
