The real solution to avoid bankruptcy and total collapse and how to drastically cut spending and taxing: privatize the schools, privatize the universities, privatize Medi-Cal, privatize the DMV, privatize the prisons, privatize the state parks, and privatize or eliminate any other current government function that can be done better, more efficiently, or cheaper by the private sector (in other words, almost everything).
