To: The Old Hoosier
If Bustamante does come in third, I, along with many others will have been wrong. I just am worried that if Arnold gets out, many of the voters who would have voted for him won't vote at all, some will vote for Bustamante, some will vote for McClintock....but not a big enough majority on either side to really change things, leaving McClintock still behind.

Actually, I don't want Arnold to get out. I just want conservatives to jump ship. We have this Arnold 31-Bust 25-McC 17 poll by Simon's people already today, which is evidence that McClintock could win if conservatives would just abandon Arnold and get behind him.

As the polls continue in coming weeks, and Mr. No-Substance loses more and more conservatives, it will become more apparent. It's just going to take a bit of courage and a willingness to take the risk and stand for something.
