I don't like Arnold's view on social issues, but with the legislature now in Sacramento, it would be impossible for ANY governor to make many changes. Militant gays control Sacramento, thus the bizarre legislation that has been passed recently regarding transex-whatevers.

If Arnie can get California's fiscal woes solved, and that's a pretty big IF, maybe some of the free-spending ultra liberals in Sacramento will be voted out. That is the ONLY way that California will truly return to normal.
