Incedentally, he wins here, turns things around, he is a major contender for Pres in 08. The stakes couldn't be higher. That liberal Republican, as the article above points out, will have alot of influence in the party too many "just win" conservatives claim to care about and turn the whole party leftward. Course he's also going to fail to arrest the debt, so maybe that influence will be more Bloombergesque... Can't wait for those next polls, LA Times has been hittin (R)nold HARD lately.
