A true Southerner knows you can not cook green beans too long. Ain't that the truth? :^) I swear no one in the state of Indiana knows how to cook green beans...and their beans don't have any beans in them--they're all hulls.

Down in Southern Indiana, green beans aren't any good til the are cooked the second or third time.
