It is a good thing to have 2-3 backup candidates just in case
God Almighty! You mean there are more people in the GOP who would support the supposed "RINO" at 39% than there are who would the true conservative?!?
If you can only get 1 in 5 of your OWN party to vote for you, then please get the hell out of the race.
Now I'm not saying that the same thing will happen to Arnold, but it's not inconceivable. Arnold does offer a much different dynamic to this race and is far less divisive than Riordan.
Right now people are hungry for a win. That's why right now Arnold is pulling higher numbers than the true conservative. People have been conditioned to accept this media darling as our one and only chance. Time will tell if Republicans will jump on the Arnold bandwagon or think of this campaign as a joke.
Unfortunately, yes. A majority of our party is ready to cave on most conservative principles just to "win".
