Funny, long ago when I was a poor kid from a broken home, I somehow escaped a life of crime and prison without any help at all from the government.

I believe it was because of my faith in God, Jesus Christ and the Ten Commandments. You know the ones that the government are trying to ban from all public places?

More likely it was because you were smart and worked your ass off, because that seems to be the secret of people of all religions, and of none, who succeed.

I guess that would depend on your definition of success. Jesus said:

Matthew 16
26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Seems to me that a lot of Republicans are more than willing to throw out all other conservative positions as long as Arnie promises to be business-friendly.
