I think that a prerequisite to getting a driver's license should be either proof of citizenship, or a green card (legal resident alien).

Exactly right. This has been a high-priority goal of CA Democrats because it will give them an unbeatable election majority in the state. I think illegals getting voter registration with their drivers license is what the intention is. I still don't get the illegal part. If I do something illegal I pay a fine or go to jail. Illegals get rewarded with drivers liscense and welfare, healthcare,housing,foodstamps, ect....
