Arguing with Keyes is harder than with my wife. He is razor synapse sharp. He and James Woods would be good.
(I'm just a slow ol country boy myself...yawn)

Favorite quote so far: "it's time we got away from this idea that we have to turn over our ability to interpret the Constitution to a clique of lawyers and their arcane interpretaions of the Constitution.

This man should be President some day. Sooner rather than later.
He was the most outspoken candidate on issues and morality in the 2000 race. He left no grey area of ambiguity.

Alan is a step or two above the league that Sean and Alan Colmes play in.
Right to the point of the matter:
"The Judge, Lord Myron, has declared unconstitutional a states right to ackowledge God."
PAraphrased, of course.

Keyes certainly doesn't add any gravitas to Judge Moore's effort.

Keyes ended by vowing the he will not let Judge Moore be the only one facing arrest. Keyes will stand with him.

I saw his boring show once on MSNBC, I didn't know he was on our side. The man has no personality, imho.

I caught some of Keyes' speeches during the '96 campaign: passionate, articulate, intelligent, knows the issues cold and has a sense of humor. He got connected with the wrong network, so they canceled his program. Fox's Roger Ailes probably would not want to take a chance, but he should.

Wow - Alan Keyes is SO fabulous. His vocabulary is ...well I don't have a vocabulary word that would do it justice! --and there you are! His arguments always right on target, and he presents himself with such confidence of will.
I told my brother (as we were watching H&C tonight) that I would hate to be his wife and have an argument with him. You'd have to simply throw your arms in the air and say...whatever and give up--he'd have you every time! ---OR--- Could you imagine having him on your Debate Club at school??? You'd ALWAYS win. Words are "Artwork" to him!

"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or to often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by christians;not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here."

Alan Keyes has zeroed in on the real issue in Alabama: federal judges issuing decrees with no basis in law.
The issue isn't the Ten Commandments at all, but the abuse of authority by federal judges, and their imposition of doctrines with no valid legal basis on all other levels of government.
Federal judicial legislation is illegal and must be stopped. Congress has this power, the power of impeachment, and is negligent in not using it.
