At what point did this begin? Or do you contend it should still be a land of native tribes

When I started seeing everything in grocery stores in Spanish, thats when!

This country is a Christian, english-speaking country. Those that dont like it, need to immigrate somewhere else!

Just Spanish? Where I live, just about every package is labeled in English, Spanish, and French. It's only in your dreams that the USA is a Christian, English-speaking country.

Today, I have spoken to people in English, Spanish, and briefly, in Russian. Haven't seen any French speakers today, and I don't speak Tagalog, so I didn't understand the nice Filipino man I saw in the market.

Ohio had German-language newspapers for most of the first half of the nineteenth century, because it had tens of thousands of immigrants who didn't speak English.

Eventually, their children learned English and assimilated, and the German newspapers faded away.
