Read his own words. They are not protected by the 1st Amendment. They are only protected by the Judeo-Christian God.

You're completely misreading his words. His position is this: God grants rights. The Consitution protects them. That's perfectly in line with the views of the Founders.

What do you think it means when he says that considering Hinduism or Buddhism to be "religion" for purposes of the 1st Amendment would be an "erroneous assumption?" What part of that am I misreading?
