Well, that's open to interpretation.
The "rule of law" to which you refer had better NOT be "written by judges". If you so support and uphold the law, how is you do not understand the basic premise the law is written by the legislative not judicical branch of our government of the people?
The "rule of law" to which you refer also omits one teeny little bit of language, "the other part" of the First Amendment, to wit:
"Congress shall make no law...prohibiting the free exercise..." of religion....
