Well, I never did this before so I'm not sure how to get the URL. The article was in the Plain Dealer so I didn't get it on-line, but read it in today's paper. Also, in the article it says the janitor believes the men beat him because the pastor preached against homosexuality. So, to me, that pretty much indicates that the janitor is acknowledging his homosexuality. The news blurb was also on a radio station this morning. There doesn't seem to be a question as to the man's sexual preferences.

Well, it could also be that the men *wanted* to beat up the pastor, because they were angry that he spoke against the gay bishop, and when the janitor told them the pastor wasn't around, they settled for beating up the (probably-not-a-homosexual)janitor instead.
That way their trip wasn't for nothing.

Um, no... the janitor is NOT saying he's gay - the janitor is saying he was beat up because the pastor preached an "anti-gay" sermon....

I gather from this "this is a message FOR Pastor Paul" that it was a beating AGAINST the church's stance against homosexuality. Why does the janitor have to be a homosexual? Couldn't pro-homosexual goons have done the attack and just attacked the first man they found on site?
There was another thread where a Texas Episcopalian church was set fire (with lighter fluid) and reportedly some prohomsexual graffitti was found (something along the lines of "Jesus loves homosexuals").

The janitor is NOT gay. They beat him because they couldn't find the pastor and they wanted to take it out on someone.
They gays on the west side feel that they own the world.

That's what you got out of it? From what you said, it sounded like a couple of guys beat up the janitor as a message to the pastor to shut up and not preach against homosexuality any more.

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't draw the conclusion that the janitor was homosexual. I got the impression that he was beaten up by a couple of fags to send a message to the pastor of the church and the janitor just happened to be there.
