Well in the laws of thermal dynamics, you can't have something from nothing. Since you think there is no god, then where did emotions come from. Thus, the only possibilities would be from water or minerals, so which organism carry the genetic code for emotions?

Emotions are evolutionary-acquired traits for the purposes of eliciting survival and reproductive-promoting behaviors in animals as a response to environmental stimuli.

Your suggestion that microbes, which do not possess a central nervous system, need to have inherited emotions from rocks in order to prove evolutionary theory true is either a bad joke an indication of your ignorance.

I realize that microbes don't inherit these traits, but you still have not answered the question of where it comes from. If everything evolved, than that would take away from the fist law of thermal dynamics, thus a fire cannot create itself. I choose to believe that there is a supreme god or power out there. That to me takes a lot less belief.
