Could it be that the Ark, if found under the Temple Mount, may be a reproduction? If they look inside and it doesn't melt their faces off .... it's a fake :)

Well .. back to reality .. it couldn't melt their faces off, because the Zoe of GOD does not reside there anymore. After Jesus became "the firstborn among the dead", He took His own blood and poured it on the mercy seat (which is what the Ark represented). Because of that action, GOD does not reside in the Ark anymore, the Life of GOD only resides in those who have received Jesus as their Savior.
