Am I the only one who thinks that "MSNBC's Imus in The Morning" comes off as a pre-therapy "Kieth Richards" reading the weather from a smudgy script? I can't even watch that show. F&F really comes off as enjoyable.

If it has to be Imus or nothing.....I would choose nothing. F&F is great! We haven't watched anything else in the morning for years.

NBC's Katie Couric and Matt Lauer, on Today they keep things light and fun but assiduously avoid revealing their biases. Just which Today show has this author been watching? All Katie is is biased---liberal bias.

Wish they'd produce a new theme tune.

Now only if Ailes could do something about the weekend addition of Fox and Friends.

Though the morning banter is always polite between NBC's Katie Couric and Matt Lauer, on Today they keep things light and fun but assiduously avoid revealing their biases. Ummm, because we hate the president, too, here at USA Today.

I totally agree. Katie and Matt are very biased toward the left. Anytime I try to watch them, I end up changing the channel because the bias is so obvious.

Executives at Fox News like to call F&F "the anti-Today show." Though the morning banter is always polite between NBC's Katie Couric and Matt Lauer, on Today they keep things light and fun but assiduously avoid revealing their biases.BWAAAHAHAHAAA!! Yeah, right!
I think Rush said it best...
"If Katie Couric doesn't like something then you know whatever it is, it's gotta be good for the country."

I agree about the weekend crew ..... keep Mike and dump the other two whiners. Juliet is only Hollyweird oriented and Julian never saw food he didn't like .... both do nothing but whine!

avoid revealing their biases..?.. yea-right!

Though the morning banter is always polite between NBC's Katie Couric and Matt Lauer, on Today they keep things light and fun but assiduously avoid revealing their biases. Which they MOST DEFINITELY do have. That is what gives all conversations on the Today Show a complete air of unreality. Matt & Katie have to pretend they don't have any political biases when we all know they definitely do have them. Thus, they can't talk matters of of any political importance and have to chit-chat about inane trivia or the weather.

This reveals the author's biases are the same as Katie's and Matt's. Networks are losing viewers in droves because of their unhidden Left-wing bias and anti-American slant.

My favorite is when ED and Steve were begining a conversation about tobogan(sp?) racing in the olympics, but couldn't think of the word and Brian offers, "Homosexuality?"
Then ED and Steve proceed to remove themselves and the set furniture from the view of the cameras.
All the while, Mancow's hollaring, "Oh DON'T TAKE THE CARPET!! COME ON!!!"

***The way it does it with three down-to-earth, opinionated hosts kicking around hot-button issues from a no-frills, somewhat cheesy set, essentially doing talk radio on TV has drawn a loyal following of 1.2 million viewers. (By comparison, Morning draws 753,000; Imus gets 364,000.) ***
And they do it with the disadvantage of not being available in as many homes.

If it has to be Imus or nothing.....I would choose nothing. Same here. Imus is miserable in the morning.
