How does he prevent himself from going around in circles? I had that same morbid thought myself, but he has opposing limbs left:
Mr Filipi's right leg and much of his left arm were blown off
I admire his courage in attempting this. A friend of mine from high school had to have a leg amputated below the knee because of a boating accident, but went on and set the record for the fastest ascent of the 50 highest points in the country - and that includes McKinley, Ranier, Hood, Borah Peak in Idaho,Gannett Peak in Wyoming and Granite Peak in Montana - all very difficult climbs.

I admire a guy who has the guts to try this with one arm and one leg. Most of us couldn't even swim as far as Mario's failed attempt.
My guess is Mr. Filipi doesn't whine about his disability or prey on others' sympathy. Liberal US Democrats wouldn't like this guy.
