Preparedness is a way of life. What's so difficult? A year's food storage, a few weeks of drinking water, some means to have light and heat. The ability to defend your family and home. Everybody ought to do it. Sooner or later, when the boy cries 'wolf' it's because there really is a wolf.

What's so difficult indeed? Those of us who live in rural areas take that kind of preparedness for granted. It's the Disneyland / entitlement / girly-man metrosexual mentality of the blue-zoners that refuses to even consider such things.
Thing about preparedness is that you're obliged to face reality - not the favorite sport of the entitled classes.
