Well, the power failure has reached out and touched the mutual fund market.

Usually within 30 minutes after the markets close at 1 pm Pacific time, Quicken and other sites start showing what the various mutual did with the various stocks they own.

At 2:49, there is only one of our close to 30 mutual funds posted with the End of the Day results, the latest NAV.

We were closing out two funds at the end of the day's market and buying another one in the same family. That might get straightened out in a couple of weeks.

A little hint that I got from a guy who works for PG&E, who has relatives in the financial markets. At least once a week, print out your balances in your 401ks, IRAs and other investments. Before and after any trades and buys, print the before, the trades, and the after data out.
