Very good point. Eeeeeew. (Of course, this is the reason I USED to carry a penlight on my keychain. Of course with the recent TSA rules I took it off so it wouldn't be confiscated.)

This is the problem with the current security problem. Those of us who like to carry "survival" gear with us when we travel are not allowed to do so.
I like to carry items such as flashlights, Leatherman tool, etc. in case of emergencies. Not allowed anymore.
We've been reduced to helpless sheep.
