To: Trust but Verify
How long does it have to take for a power company employee, or many of them for that matter, to come forward and say, this is what happened:

The people who would have the slightest idea about what is going on are up to their necks trying to get this fixed. That leaves clueless PR hacks to talk to the reporters.

I'm on your side Karl. People were questioning how the government could say so quickly that it was not a terrorist attack. My response was that all it takes is for someone, anyone, at the power company to say, "This is what happened."

I think that's about right. I've heard both that the grid in Canada went out, which caused the blackouts in NY & the rest of the US, then I also heard that the NY power outage spread to Canada.

I guess we may know what happened in a few days.
