I did NOT have to give a substantiation, the substantiation had already been given on another thread.

Your interest in treating other people as you would like to be treated and preventing flamewars seems to be at odds with that behavior. Again, you did not address the warning directly to the victim and more importantly you did not say to that victim why he should believe you, who could have been some yokel from Democratic Underground for all he knew.

I followed the existing agreement, if you think that it should be amended, feel free to put your input in when it comes up for review.

At this point though, I followed it to the letter.

Again, if you think that it should be changed, then state it in the agreement thread and we shall put it up for a vote.

But to let a troll start clean every thread is insane as far as I am concerned.

The troll gets an opportunity to prove that they are there to debate logically and without flamebaiting EVERY new thread, I gave him the opportunity, and he blew it, just as he always does.

He can't help himself, he HAS to attack, it is his way.

If he had controlled himself and actually ADDED something to the thread, I would have left it alone, but you can't say that #56 was not an invitation to a flamewar.
