But to say that it somehow has credibility over what is and what is not science, is extremely laughable.

Bring some ACTUAL science to the discussion and we can discuss it, debate evidence etc, we can discuss it, but as soon as you start claiming that science is somehow responsible for "IDEAS" that are vile to say the least, then the conversation ends until you can figure out what a real discussion based on REAL evidence looks like.
Aric, you of all people on this thread have not really debated evidence but have thrown out a lot of unsubstantiated assertions about the evidence, about creationists, etc., Others on this thread have tried to bring forward evidence, which I found uncompelling, yet respect them for trying.

I am not, by the way, a "newbie" to F.R. or even to these kind of threads. I don't chime in very frequently, true. But I have made comments before. I had no delusion that I would sway a single evolutionist on this thread. None whatsoever. But, I came on the thread to cause people to realize that the "evidence" is not as universally accepted and proven as the evolutionists would have us believe. You don't have to talk to me anymore. That's fine, and it is your choice.

Indeed, a VERY small minority do not understand the evidence and therefore write it off, as you have been doing through this entire thread.

Ichneumon has refuted a number of your posts with excellent, well thought out, and incredible responses.

You have chosen to ignore them.

Just because you choose to ignore the evidence does not mean that it does not exist. and it exists, In DROVES, in warehouses full, in thousands and thousands of papers written by well respected and peer reviewed scientists.

Your chosen ignorance is what is in question, not science, nor the scientific viability of evolution.

Evolution is an assumption in science now, there is so much evidence FOR it that only the specifics are what are in question, the basis for the theory is pretty much a given.

Creationism is religion by the way, and so far I have yet to see one piece of credible scientific evidence to back it up.
