I do not think the moderators have any interest in enforcing a "you can't hit me back" rule, and the derision an attempt to create one would undoubtedly generate would be rightfully spawned, IMO ...
It has to be that way - things would get awfully ugly awfully quick if that were considered a legitimate debate tactic. I'll make sure of it - there are still a few people bopping around here who I'd use that rule against early and often.
