God did indeed set up a great universe capable of reproduction and all things working together.

He sure did. He created life of irreducible complexity that, aside from the effects of the fall (death and decay) still functions the way it is supposed to. If we were a few degrees closer to the sun we would disintegrate, a few degrees further away, we'd freeze. Then you have organs, such as the eyeball, which are irreducibly complex. Parts of the eye would serve absolutely no purpose at all on their own. They only function with the whole. Just as they were designed to do. This could not have evolved over time by chance. God designed it, and his design is wonderful!
